4 Insert the screw into the hole on the security bar and tighten it into place.
IMPORTANT Do not overtighten the screw.
Note: For added protection, you can purchase a screw with a less-common
head—such as a torque screw—and use it instead of the Phillips screw
provided. Use a screw with the following specifications: length: 20 mm;
diameter: 3.5 mm; thread pitch: 0.6 mm.
To remove the security bar, remove the screw and press the center of the bar.
First, remove the screw.
Then, press the security bar near
its center to release it from the computer.
Install the screw in the hole on the underside of the security bar.
