Removing or replacing the battery
To remove or replace the battery, follow these steps.
1 Save your work, and then choose Shut Down or Sleep from the Special menu, or plug in
the power adapter.
2 Close the display.
3 Press the battery release button on the battery.
4 Pull the battery out of its compartment.
5 Put the battery cap on the battery to cover the battery contacts.
The battery contacts should not be exposed when the battery is out of the
computer.

when the battery is out of the computer.
1 Press the button on the battery. 2 Slide the battery out.
