Other ways of putting your computer to sleep
You can also use any of the following alternate methods to put your computer
to sleep:
m Choose the Sleep command from the Special menu.
m Close the display.
m Move the pointer over the Sleep Now portion of the Control Strip, then
press the mouse button and choose Sleep Now from the pop-up menu that
appears.
m Hold down the Command and Shift keys while you press and release the
zero (0) key.
When the computer is in sleep, a small green light flashes in the upper right-
hand corner of the display.
