Exercise care to protect the drive gear from damage during
disassembly.
8. Once the shaft is clear of the gearbox, remove the drive gear and
shaft key from the housing.
9. Press the front bearing from within the drive shaft and remove
the rear bearing from the housing.
Assemble HG Gearbox
See Figure 6-14: “HG Series Gearbox Breakdown.”
To install, follow the preceding steps in the reverse order, paying
attention to the following:
