Using Memory Security
You must use a password to switch Memory Security ON and OFF.
Setting Up Memory Security for the First Time

The screen prompts you to enter the password, and then press

Enter a 4-digit number as a password.

The screen prompts you re-enter the password.

Re-enter the password and press
Set

The screen displays
SET SECURITY
SELECT { } & SET
SET PASSWORD
SELECT { } & SET

to choose SET SECURITY.

. The screen prompts you to enter the password.

ENTER & SET

Enter a 4-digit password, followed by
Set
.
This is the same as the security password of your machine already
stored.
The screen displays ACCEPTED for 2 seconds, followed by SECURE
MODE - Memory Security is now switched ON.
If the password you enter at Step 8 is incorrect, the screen would display
WRONG PASSWORD. After 2 seconds the display will then return to
normal (displaying the date & time). You must then start from Step 5 to
set Memory Security.
