Replacing the power supply
The power supply unit with integral cooling fan provides the necessary
power to run the computer.
To remove the power supply and cooling fan:
1. Shut down the computer and unplug the power cable.
2. Remove the case. See Opening the case.
3. Disconnect the power supply’s cables from the motherboard and all
installed devices such as the floppy disk drive, CD-ROM/DVD-ROM
drive, and hard disk drive. Label the connectors to facilitate
reinstalling them.
4. Remove the screws on the back of the chassis holding the power
switch and AC connector assembly.

5. Remove the floppy drive unit by pressing the release latch at the top-
front of the drive and sliding the unit away from the front of the
chassis.
