– Normally, search character is set automatically from the first char-
acter of registered name.

Check the registration contents and touch [Yes] and then touch [OK].
– The registration name can be changed on touching [Name]. Index
screen is also displayed after the changes.
– Search characters can be changed on touching [Index].
The destination is registered.

Touch [Close] until it returns to Fax/Scan screen.
– Returns to the [direct input] tab of the Fax/Scan screen in case of
destination registration from direct input and returns to [Job Histo-
ry] tab of the Fax/Scan screen in case of destination registration
from Record.
