Set other functions if required.

Specify the destination.
– For details regarding specifying destinations, refer to “Specifying
only one destination” on page 2-17 and “Specifying multiple desti-
nations (Sequential broadcast transmission or broadcast transmis-
sion)” on page 2-30.

Press the [Start] key.
– If the fax cannot be sent, for example, because the recipient’s line
is busy, the fax number is redialed. For details on redialing, refer to
“When unable to send fax” on page 2-41.
– To stop the transmission, refer to “Aborting transmission” on
page 2-48.
– If the fax cannot be sent, refer to “Troubleshooting” on page 4-2.
The scanned original is stored in memory as a reserve job and trans-
mission is started.
