Encryption
When you select "PDF" or "Compact PDF" for the file type, specify the encryption level.

- You cannot check the contents of an encrypted document in the preview screen.
Encryption - Detail Settings
Configure the detailed permission settings when the document permission is specified in "Encryption".
Item Description
Encryption Level Select the encryption level.
Password Enter the password necessary to open encrypted data (up to 32 characters). For
confirmation, enter the password twice.
Document Per-
missions Enter the password necessary to change document permissions (up to 32 charac-
