2.14.2 SSL Setting
0 For call the PKI Settings screen on the display, see steps 1 and 2 of page 2-60.
0 Do not leave the machine with the Admin Mode setting screen left shown on the display. If it is abso-
lutely necessary to leave the machine, be sure first to log off from the Admin Mode.
NOTICE
When making the SSL Setting, be sure to make sure in advance that the device certificate has been registered
in the machine. For the procedure to register the device certificate, see page 2-60.

Start PageScope Web Connection and call the PKI Settings screen on the display.

Click [SSL Setting] from [PKI Settings] menu.

Set "Mode using SSL/TLS" and "Encryption Strength" and click [OK].
% Select "Admin. Mode and User Mode" for "Mode using SSL/TLS."
% For encryption strength, select the strong "AES-256, 3DES-168."
% In the Enhanced Security Mode, the setting cannot be changed to one containing strength lower
than AES/3DES.

Click [OK].
