Formatting the hard disk
The hard disk can be formatted.
0 When the hard disk is formatted, all saved data is deleted. Therefore, be
sure to print any necessary data in advance.
0 Before formatting the hard disk, check that no jobs are being performed,
such as documents saved on the hard disk being printed. Formatting
cannot begin if a job is not finished.
0 Do not touch the machine while formatting in order to prevent errors from
occurring.
0 Wait at least two minutes after turning on the machine before formatting.

Press the [Utility/Counter] key.

Touch [Admin. Management].

Type in the administrator code, and then touch [Enter].

Touch [Admin. 2], and then touch [HDD Management].

Touch [Format].
