Chapter 1 — Quick Start
Bridge External Port Status LED
There are three separate LEDs:
RCV
flashes when a packet is received on the external port.
FWD
flashes when a packet is forwarded from the hub port to
the external port.
COL
flashes when a packet collision is detected on the bridge
external port.
Bridge Spanning Tree Status LEDs
STATUS
flashes when the bridge is still alive in the spanning
tree configuration.
STANDBY
is on when the bridge is on standby or blocking in
the spanning tree.
ACTIVE
is on when the bridge is the active or forwarding
bridge in the spanning tree.
Bridge Hub Port Status LEDs
There are three separate LEDs:
RCV
flashes when a packet is received on the hub port
FWD
flashes when a packet is forward from the external port to
the hub port.
COL
flashes when a packet collision is detected on the bridge
hub port.
RJ45 Port Connectors
These are the twelve 10BaseT ports provided by the hub; each
port can be connected to an Ethernet device, including another
hub.
