Do not forget to connect the
CPU fan connector! Hardware
monitoring errors may occur
if you fail to plug this
connector.
5. Connect the fan cable to the
4-pin connector labeled
CPU_FAN1.
6. Repeat steps 1 to 3 to install
the other heatsink if you have
installed a second CPU, then
connect the fan cable to the
4-pin connector labeled
CPU_FAN2.
The heatsinks appear as shown
when installed.
3. Align the other end of the
retention bracket (near the
retention bracket lock) to the
retention module base.
4. Push down the retention
bracket lock on the retention
mechanism to secure the
heatsink and fan to the module
base.
