VPN
The VPN settings menu allows you to set up and manage
Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
Note: You must set a screen lock PIN or password before
setting up a VPN. For more information, refer to “Screen
Security” on page 127.
Connecting to a VPN
1. From the Settings screen, touch Connections tab ➔
More networks ➔ VPN.
2. Touch the VPN to which you want to connect.
3. In the pop-up window, enter any requested credentials.
4. Touch Connect.
Configure a Basic VPN
1. From the Settings screen, touch Connections tab ➔
More networks ➔ VPN.
2. Touch Basic VPN and then touch Add.
3. Enter the configuration information and then touch
Save.
Configure an Advanced IPsec VPN
1. From the Settings screen, touch Connections tab ➔
More networks ➔ VPN.
2. Touch Advanced IPsec VPN and then touch Add.
3. Set a password to protect the private keys and shared
secrets.
4. Re-enter the password and then touch OK.
5. Enter the IPsec configuration information, then touch
Show advanced options to configure additional
options.
6. Touch Save.
Edit or Delete a VPN
1. From the Settings screen, touch Connections tab ➔
More networks ➔ VPN.
2. Touch and hold the VPN that you want to edit or delete.
3. In the pop-up window, touch:
4. Edit network, make the desired VPN setting changes,
and then touch Save.
5. Delete network to delete the VPN.
