If you are connecting to a Bluetooth-capable
printer, you must check the
Printer
box on the
Services page.
Waiting for Pairing from an External Device
If you are going to be using a Personal Area Network
(PAN) profile to pair with a computer or PDA, you will
need to allow the other device to initiate pairing with
your phone.
To allow your phone to be paired with another Bluetooth
device:
1.
Make sure your Bluetooth feature is active and
your device is visible. See “Using the Bluetooth
Settings Menu” on page 127.
2.
From the Confirm screen, press
Yes
(left softkey) to
accept the connection from the external Bluetooth
device.
3.
Enter the passcode (the same one used by the
initiating device) in the passcode field and press
Next
(left softkey).
To deactivate Bluetooth devices in your list:
1.
Press the Power button, select
Wireless Manager
and
press .
2.
Highlight the
Bluetooth
field and press
Menu
(right softkey)
> Bluetooth Settings
.
Note
Due to different specifications and features of other
Bluetooth-compatible devices, display and
operations may be different, and functions such as
transfer or exchange may not be possible with all
Bluetooth-compatible devices.
Note
Although your device can connect to any Bluetooth-
compatible device, only two connections can be
made at a time. If an incoming pairing request is
rejected, you might need to disable pairing with
another device.
