Working with Users
The Storage Management Appliance software requires each user to complete a
logon process. An Administrator can create users, assigning each user a user name
and password plus a privilege level. The assigned privilege level determines what
pages the person can view and what actions the person can perform. Any user
assigned the Administrator privilege level can add or delete users as well as edit
the properties of any existing user including the assigned privilege level.
The Storage Management Appliance Users page ( Figure 18 ) lists current users
and lets you add, import, and delete users, as well as specify passwords,
properties, and notification settings.
