Remove the access panel
1. Power down the workstation blade (on page 14 ).
2. Remove the workstation blade (on page 15 ).
3. If necessary, remove the graphics expansion blade (" Remove the WS460c Graphics Expansion Blade "
on page 21 , " Remove the WS460c Graphics Expansion Blade PCIe card cage " on page 23 ).
4. Press the access panel release button.
5. To remove the access panel, slide it towards the rear of the workstation blade, and then lift the panel.
Install the access panel
1. Place the access panel on top of the workstation blade.
2. Slide the access panel forward until it clicks into place.
Remove the front panel/hard drive cage assembly
1. Power down the workstation blade (on page 14 ).
2. Remove the workstation blade (on page 15 ).
3. Remove the access panel (on page 16 ).
CAUTION: Always remove the SAS controller before removing the front panel/drive cage
assembly.
4. Extend the serial label pull tab from the front of the workstation blade.
5. Remove the two T-15 screws from the front panel/drive cage assembly.
6. Remove the front panel/drive cage assembly.
