Introduction
This chapter describes how to configure synchronous serial interfaces.
Configure the
Synchronous
Serial Interfaces The synchronous serial interfaces are configured to allow connection
to WANs. Once the Ethernet or Token Ting port on your router has
been configured, complete these steps to configure the synchronous
serial interfaces:
1. Press or type yes to configure serial port 0:

2. Determine which protocols you want on the synchronous serial
interface and enter the appropriate responses:
Configure IP on this interface? [yes]:
Configure IP unnumbered on this interface? [no]:
