Chapter 3

Chassis 1/2/3/4 Lower Temperature [40]

Displays the lower limit of the chassis temperature.

Chassis 1/2/3/4 Fan Min. Duty Cycle(%) [60]

Use the <+> and <-> keys to adjust the minimum chassis fan duty cycle. The values range from

60% to 100%. When the chassis temperature is under 40ºC, the chassis fan will operate at the

minimum duty cycle.

ASST 1/2 Q-Fan Control [Enabled]

[Disabled]

Disables the Assistant Q-Fan control feature.

[Enabled]

Enables the Assistant Q-Fan control feature.

Assistant 1/2 Fan Speed Low Limit [600 RPM]

This item appears only when you enable the ASST 1/2 Q-Fan Control feature and allows

you to disable or set the chassis fan warning speed.

Configuration options: [Ignore] [200 RPM] [300 RPM] [400 RPM] [500 RPM] [600 RPM]

ASST 1/2 Fan Profile [Standard]

This item appears only when you enable the ASST 1/2 Q-Fan Control feature and

allows you to set the appropriate performance level of the assistant fan.
[Standard] Sets to [Standard] to make the assistant fan automatically adjust

depending on the assistant temperature.

[Silent]

Sets to [Silent] to minimize the fan speed for quiet assistant fan operation.

[Turbo]

Sets to [Turbo] to achieve maximum assistant fan speed.

[Manual] Sets to [Manual] to assign detailed fan speed control parameters.
[Fan-off] Sets to [Fan-off] to allow assistant fans to run at 0% duty cycle when the

motherboard’s temperature decreases to a cetain degree.

The following four items appear only when you set ASST 1/2 Fan Profile to [Manual].

ASST 1/2 Upper Temperature [70]

Use the <+> and <-> keys to adjust the upper limit of the assistant/PCH temperature. The values

range from 40ºC to 90ºC.

ASST 1/2 Fan Max. Duty Cycle(%) [100]

Use the <+> and <-> keys to adjust the maximum assistant/PCH fan duty cycle. The values

range from 60% to 100%. The minimum value can not lower than the setting of Min duty cycle.

When the assistant/PCH temperature reaches 95 degree, fan will run up to full speed.

ASST 1/2 Lower Temperature [40]
