Black lines down the page
Printed pages have toner stains
stripes down the page.

You may clear the problem by cleaning the primary corona wire inside the
drum unit by sliding the blue tab. Make sure to return the blue tab to the
Home position (
▼
). See Cleaning the corona wire on page 5-17.

The toner cartridge may be damaged. Put in a new toner cartridge. See
Replacing the toner cartridge on page 5-3.
■
The drum unit may be damaged. Put in a new drum unit. See Replacing
the drum unit on page 5-8.
■
The fuser unit may be smudged. Call Customer Service.
Black spots
Black spots at 108 mm (4.25 in.)
intervals.

You may clear the problem by printing a black page.

You may clear the problem by cleaning the primary corona wire inside the
