INTRODUCTION
The Prime is a stand-alone, flexible and versatile thermal cycler designed to accurately control the
temperatures of samples between 4ºC and 100°C. It has many scientific applications including PCR 1 ,
reverse transcription, ligation and sequencing. It has a flexible range of block options to allow for
most commonly used consumables including 0.2ml x 96 well plates, 0.2ml tubes, 0.5ml tubes and
384 well plates. A Combi-Block version is also available which can accept either 33 x 0.2ml or 33 x
0.5ml tubes. The heated lid is fully adjustable to accommodate a wide range of different
consumables.
