Wireless Option (RXT-320)
The Model RD-64X remote display offers a wireless option that is designed to take Modbus™
communication between devices to a wireless platform. This option takes local Modbus™ communication,
and through the use of a wireless network of transceivers, broadcasts this information throughout a wireless
network platform, creating a seamless network of Modbus™ devices that need not be physically connected
in any way.
The wireless function of the RD-64X remote display is made possible by Detcon’s RXT-320 wireless
transceiver. This transceiver transmits signal data such as analog 4-20mA DC or serial Modbus™ and can
support up to 32 devices. It operates at 2.4GHz and conforms to non-licensed radio frequency appliance
usage around the world. Wireless network integrity and security is accomplished using direct sequence
