7.2 Periodic Check Points
• The gasket must be inserted correctly into the groove for the FP unit’s
moisture resistance to be equivalent to IP65f.
• Be sure the gasket's seam is not inserted into any of the unit's cor-
ners, only in the straight sections of the groove. Inserting it into a
corner may lead to its eventually tearing.
• The upper surface of the gasket should protrude approximately 2mm
out from the groove. Be sure to check that the gasket is correctly in-
serted before installing the FP into a panel.
To keep your FP unit in its best condition, please inspect the following points periodi-
cally.

Is the ambient humidity within the specified range (30%RH to 90%RH, dry
bulb temperature of 39

C or less)?

Is the operating atmosphere free of corrosive gasses?
