NIBP Parameters
The NIBP parameters allow you to view and modify functions related to using the X Series unit
for noninvasive blood pressure monitoring. The main level parameters in this menu include:
• Default NIBP Mode
• Default Auto Mode Interval
• Default Cuff Inflation Target (Adult)
• Default Cuff Inflation Target (Ped.)
• Default Cuff Inflation Target (Neo.)
Default NIBP Mode
The Default NIBP Mode parameter allows you to set the X Series unit NIBP Mode.
The values for the Default NIBP Mode parameter are:
Manual: unit takes a single NIBP measurement when you press the NIBP button on the front
panel ( ). To repeat, press the NIBP key again.
Auto: unit takes the first of a series of NIBP measurements when the Auto Interval timer
expires, and then repeats the NIBP measurement at this specified interval.
Default Auto Mode Interval
The Default Auto Mode Interval parameter allows you to specify the NIBP measurement
interval time in Auto Mode.
The values for the Default Auto Mode Interval parameter are:
Default Cuff Inflation Target (Adult)
The Default Cuff Inflation Target (Adult) parameter allows you to set the cuff inflation target
for adult patients.
The values for the Default Cuff Inflation Target (Adult) parameter are:
Possible Values: Manual, Auto
Default: Manual
Possible Values: 1 min, 2 min, 3 min, 5 min, 10 min, 15 min, 30 min, 60 min
Default: 5 min
Possible Values: 120-260; by 20’s
Default: 160
