5. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
5.1. Pre-Installation Survey
It is recommended that an initial site survey be made of the area where the lock is to be
installed. Prior to installation, determination of the optimal configuration to be used for the
desired function to be performed should be made to include, but not limited to the following:
A)
Verification of the handing requirement of the door to be secured by the device
(Figure 2 or the included Template may be used to determine the handing of a door).
B)
Verification of the structural integrity of the mounting surfaces (i.e. door and frame).
