6.2.5 Cell Warranty
The Class B-2CXL and the Insta-Trace Micro-fuel Cells are used in
the Model 3000TA-XL-EU. These cells are warranted for 6 months
from the date of shipment. Note any Addenda attached to the front of
this manual for special information applying to your instrument.
With regard to spare cells, warranty period begins on the date of
shipment. The customer should purchase only one spare cell (per
Section 6.2.1). Do not stockpile spare cells.
Neither the B-2CXL cell nor the Insta-Trace cell is designed for
applications where CO
2
is a major component in the sample,
however concentrations of 1,000 ppm or less will not adversely affect
the cell performance. There are sensors available for CO
2
applications.
