10) Switch on the pump.
Press the Start/Stop key located at the bottom right of the keypad.
The green LED changes from flashing to solid.
The displayed value is active.
The programming is saved in the pump settings: if the power is cut, the dosage re-starts
with the programmed values as soon as the current comes back on.
11) Check the operation of the control unit and the pump.
The water flow, measured in l/h, is indicated by the konti-Dos control unit display.
Press the "Arrow" key to successively display the "dosage rate", "totaliser counter" and
"daily counter" functions.
The active product dosage rate is indicated, depending on the programming, in l/h of ml/h,
by the dosing pump display.
Check the dosage precision, based on the consumption of water and active product,
regularly.
To do this, use the following equation:
Consumption of active product in l = consumption of water in l x dosage rate in %100;
The water consumption is given by the control unit daily counter.
The dosage rate is indicated by the dosing pump display.
Example
The daily counter shows a water consumption of 200 l.
The dosage rate is equal to 1.5%.
The theoretical consumption of active product = 200 l x 1.5/100 = 2 l x 1.5 = 3 l.
Compare the actual consumption of active product in the receptacle with the theoretical value.
If necessary, correct the dosage rate.
REMARK
- The dosage rate (DR) should be less than the
maximum dosage rate authorised (DRmax.) for
the system (see paragraph 3.2)
- The control unit will refuse any value higher than
DRmax.
