1.3 Instructions for the water supply, the water outflow and the
electrical connections.
• Install the konti-Dos in a location which is free from any risk of frost.
• If the system uses tap water, install a water inlet cut-off system upstream of the konti-Dos.
• Only use drinking water or an equivalent without added products to supply the konti-Dos
to avoid any incompatibility with the materials from which the sensor is made.
• Use a suitable filter in the case of supply with contaminated water.
• Take account of the maximum pressure and flow values indicated in this manual.
• Check the pressure of the tap water and avoid pressure shocks. If the pressure varies or is
too high, install a pressure regulator with a suitable DN.
• When the service pressure deviates from the dosing pump calibration pressure, re-cali-
brate the pump (See Appendix 1).
• Limit the maximum water flow to the Qmax value by using a flow limiter.
• Ensure that the liquid containing the active agent flows out normally.
• In the case of the use of an aggressive liquid, it is essential that the liquid reservoir purge
outlet is connected using a pipe that is compatible with this liquid.
• Avoid any skin contact with caustic products.
• Only connect the konti-Dos electrical components using secure plugs, using fault current
circuit-breaker.
• Verify that the data indicated in the product certificate correspond to the actual operating
conditions.
ATTENTION
• Only use liquid cleaning products diluted in water to maintain the
water circuit. Never use compressed air in the water circuit as
this may damage the sensor.
• Repairs and any other work on the system should only be
entrusted to authorised personnel with suitable tools. Any
manipulation within the appliance and non-compliance with the
commissioning and safety instructions may lead to a restriction
or a total loss of the manufacturer's guarantee.
• It is the user's responsibility to ensure the maintenance and the
correct operation of the dosing.
