1.4 Standard use
The konti-Dos system enables the continuous addition of a liquid additive dosed proportionally
to a liquid whose flow is variable.
The konti-Dos system can be used in a public or private network.
The maximum pressure and flow of the water supply must be adapted to the application.
The konti-Dos system control unit is programmed for dosing. If the supply flow is 100%, the
active product is added with a dosing rate of x%. The outflow includes the supply flow and the
liquid to be dosed. The concentration of the active product in the discharge is, therefore, less
than the dosing rate.
The konti-Dos system has a 230 V / 50 Hz supply. Connection to the electrical network is via
standard current plugs and an earth-leak circuit breaker, using cables.
The konti-Dos systems should only be used in closed rooms, which are ice-free. Avoid any
exterior installation.
In the case of a current outage, the konti-Dos can be used to distribute drinking water, without
the addition of the active product.
