3.2 Rear Panel
The
V-‐Machine’s
rear
panel
(see
Figure
10,
next
page)
provides
connectivity
options
to
facilitate
the
connection
of
a
range
of
peripheral
devices.
From
left
to
right
as
you
face
the
rear
panel,
you’ll
see:
●
The power on/off button.
●
A connector for the included power supply.
●
Three
USB
connectors:
one
for
linking
the
V-‐Machine
to
a
host
computer
and
two
for
connecting
client
devices
such
as
MIDI
keyboards
and
hard
drives.
●
A MIDI in jack.
●
A stereo (TRS) mini-‐jack for audio input.
●
Right and left unbalanced 1/4" jacks for line-‐level audio output.
●
A stereo (TRS) mini-‐jack output for connecting a pair of headphones.
●
A volume knob for the headphone jack.
