Status Requests
View Link 1 status 1S X% ] Displays Link 1 status X% . For X% :
0 = no active signal
1 = active signal present
View current return
link status 2S X% ] Display the status of the return
link (Link 2).
View input video rate
status 3S Rte X^ ] Display the current input video
rate. For
X^ :
0 = no input
1 = 270 Mbps
2 = 1.485 Gbps
3 = 2.97 Gbps
4 = rate unknown
View DIP switch
positions (operating
mode) 41S Dip X2% ] Display the positions of the two
DIP switches, indicating the
current operating mode of the
unit. Off = down; On = up.
For X2% :
00 = Switch 1 off, switch 2 off — Bidirectional transceiver mode (default)
01 = Switch 1 off, switch 2 on — Transmitter mode (with local monitor outputs)
10 = Switch 1 on, switch 2 off — Receiver mode (with daisy chaining)
11 = Switch 1 on, switch 2 on — Spare (functions as receiver with daisy chaining)

current status (signal detected)
of optical Links 1 and 2, the
video input rate, the fiber optic
transmission mode (singlemode
or multimode), and the device
type (Tx, Rx, or Tr).
Link 1 and Link 2 — for
X% :
1 = active signal present
0 = no signal present
RTE —
X^ = input video rate
X2! = SM (singlemode) or
MM (multimode).
X2@ = Tx, Rx, or Tr (transceiver)
