7.2 Connecting the PROFIBUS cable
The PROFIBUS cable is connected to the DIQ/S 182 XT-4-PR using a
9-pin D-SUB connector on the top of the housing. As connector on the
cable
side, we exclusively recommend one of the following two connectors.

To remove the blind plug, lift the safety bracket at both clamps at the
left and right side using a suitable screw driver (see Fig. 7-1).

Caution
To prevent the enclosure of the DIQ/S 182 XT-4-PR from being
penetrated by water the following must be observed:
 Use connectors recommended by YSI only.
 When the plug connector is removed, the socket connector of
the DIQ/S 182 XT-4-PR must be closed with the blind plug and
secured with the safety bracket.
