The profile is imported in IP Director. You can now define it as the current profile
and edit its metadata via the menu Metadata > Edit Current Default Metadata.

ROFILE
To export a metadata profile into an XML file, proceed as follows:
1. In the main IP Director window, select the menu Metadata > Export
Profile.
The Choose Clip Profile dialog box opens:
2. Select the name of the metadata profile to export from the Profile drop-
down list.
3. Click OK. The Export Profile window opens:
4. Select the folder where you will export the file in the Save in drop-down list
and type a file name for the profile to export in the File Name field.
5. Click Save.
The profile is exported to the requested folder.
