Port Number The default port of the RADIUS server for authentication is
1812.
You need not change this value unless your network
administrator instructs you to do so with additional information.

Key Enter a password (up to 31 alphanumeric characters) as the key
to be shared between the external authentication server and the
access points.
The key is not sent over the network. This key must be the
same on the external authentication server and ZyWALL.
Accounting Server
Active Select Yes from the drop-down list box to enable user
authentication through an external accounting server.

Server Address Enter the IP address of the external accounting server in dotted
decimal notation.

7.4 Local User Authentication
By storing user profiles locally, your ZyWALL is able to authenticate wireless users without interacting with
a network RADIUS server.
Click Advanced, Wireless and the Local User Database tab to the display the following screen (some of the
screen’s blank rows are not shown).
