Always
use the materials and supplies specifically designed for your
Xerox equipment. Use of unsuitable materials may result in poor
performance and, possibly, a hazardous situation.
Never
use a ground adaptor plug to connect the equipment to a
power source receptacle that lacks a ground connection terminal.
Never
attempt any maintenance function that is not specifically
described in this documentation.
Never
obstruct ventilation openings. These are provided to prevent
overheating.
Never
install the equipment near a radiator or any other heat source.
Never
override or “cheat” electrical or mechanical interlock devices.
Never
push objects of any kind into the ventilation openings.
Never
operate the equipment if you notice unusual noises or odors.
Disconnect the power cord from the power source receptacle and
contact your dealer or Xerox/Rank Xerox to correct the problem.
If you need any additional safety information concerning the
equipment or materials, contact your dealer or Xerox/Rank Xerox.
WARNING:
Use of controls, adjustments, or performance of
procedures other than those specified herein may result in a
hazardous radiation exposure.
This product will produce less than 0.1 ppm ozone during normal
operation. The ozone produced is dependent on copy volume and is
heavier than air. Providing the proper environmental parameters as
specified by Xerox will ensure that concentration levels meet safe
limits.
