Specifications
The RS232C serial option module lets you communicate with
the computer up to a maximum speed of 115,200 bps (bits per
second).
The data format used in serial transmission is fixed at 8 data
bits, 1 stop bit and no parity.
The flow control can be either of the following:
• DTR signal (hardware handshake)
• XON/XOFF (software handshake).
Apart from the XON/XOFF flow control, you can select
whether you will be using robust XON protocol which lets the
printer keep sending the XON signal repeatedly within a
preset interval (e.g. every one second).
The transmission speed and robust XON can be selected in
the Remote Control Panel.
