Changing Password or Closing Mailbox

If you want to change the password of an existing mailbox, or if
you want to close an existing mailbox, follow the instructions
below.
1. Press the

Select Function

key.

2. Press the

9/User Prog.

One-Touch key. The display shows

1:FUNC. PROGRAMMING

.

3. Using the numeric keypad, press

5

. The display shows

5:PERSONAL BOX PRG

.

4. Press the

YES

key. The display shows

PERSONAL BOX

NO. [ ]

.

5. Using the numeric keypad, enter the 2-digit number of the

mailbox whose password you want to change, or which you
want to close.

6. Press the

YES

key. The display shows

PERSONAL BOX

[CONF]

.

7. To close a mailbox, press the

NO

key until

[CLOSE]

is

displayed and press

YES

. Go to Step 11.

8. To change the password, press the

YES

key. The display

shows

PRG. PASSWORD [XXXX]

.

9. Enter a new 4-digit number on the numeric keypad.

10. Press the

YES

key to accept the new password.

11. The fax machine shows

DELETE PERSONAL BOX

. Press

Yes

.

To continue programming mailboxes, go back to Step 5. If
you have finished programming, press the

Select Function

key.

Printing Confidential Faxes

Each time your fax machine receives a confidential fax, it auto-
matically prints a confidential reception report telling you
which mailbox number received the message. To print a confi-
dential fax after your fax machine has received it, follow the
instructions below.
1. Press the

Select Function

key.

2. Press the

2/Print Operation

One-Touch key. The display

shows

PRINT MEMORY MSG.?

Press

No

.

3. The display shows

PRINT PERSONAL BOX?

4. Press the

YES

key. The display shows

PERSONAL BOX

NO. [ ]

5. Using the numeric keypad, enter the two-digit number of the

mailbox you want to print from. The display shows

PERSONAL BOX

NO. [ ] YES OR NO

. Press the

YES

key.

Note: If no message is stored in that mailbox, the display shows

NO DATA IN MEMORY

.
