Various Settings

Turning Off the Beat Indicator

(Beat Indicator)

The beat indicator normally flashes in time with the
metronome, Music Style, or song tempo. However, if you
wish, it can be set to remain off at all times.

At step 3 in “Procedure” (p. 132), touch .
A screen like the one shown below appears.

Touch

to turn the setting ON, or OFF (so the beat

indicator remains off).

Selecting Images To Be Shown

on the KR105
(User Image Display)

You can have image data from computers and other devices
shown on the onboard display.

At Step 3 in “Procedure” (p. 132), touch Display>.

A screen like the one shown below appears.

Selecting the images to be displayed

First, take a floppy disk to which the image data stored
in the KR105 has been saved, and insert the disk in the
disk drive.

Touch .

A screen like the one shown below appears.

2.

Touch the name of the stored image data.

When you touch , you can then show the
selected image data on the display selected in Step 1.

3.

Touch .

The selected image data is stored.

4.

Touch to return to the previous screen.

To clear the stored image data, touch .

Image data that KR105 can display

320 x 240 pixels

Color

1 bit (2 colors)

Format

BMP format

* The KR105 cannot deal with compressed

image data.

Name

1–8 characters in length (lowercase is ok). A
filename extension of “.BMP” (uppercase
characters) must be added after the name.

The following characters can be used to
name an image.

V W X Y Z a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s
t u v w x y z 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 # $ % & ‘ ( ) -
@ ~ { } ^ _ !

* If you use a character that cannot be used

in a name, it will be replaced by another
character when displayed.
