Configuring L3 Label Switched Paths
MPLS Configuration
Refer to the
mpls create label-switched-path
and
mpls set label-switched-path
commands in the
Riverstone RS Switch Router Command Line Interface Reference Manual for more information on the above
parameters.
exclude
Exclude specified administrative groups. (For more detailed
explanations of administrative groups and example configurations, see
Section 17.7.1, "Administrative Groups."
)
X
X
from
Address of the local router (default is the local router ID).
X
hop-limit
The maximum number of hops, including the ingress and egress LSR,
allowed in this LSP. (See "Hop Limit".)
X
X
include
Include specified administrative groups. (For more detailed
explanations of administrative groups and example configurations, see
Section 17.7.1, "Administrative Groups."
)
X
X
metric
Assigns a metric to this LSP. (See "LSP Metric".)
X
mtu
Maximum transmission unit (MTU) for the path.
X
X
no-cspf
LSP does not use constrained shortest path first (CSPF) algorithm. This
parameter must be specified for explicit path LSPs. (See "Disabling
CSPF".)
X
X
no-decrement-ttl
TTL field of IP packet is decremented only when exiting LSP. The
entire LSP appears as a single hop to IP traffic. (See "Disabling TTL
Decrementing".)
X
X
no-record-route
Disables recording of path route information by LSP. (See "Disabling
Path Route Recording".)
X
X
policy
Specifies the MPLS policy to be applied. (See "Policies".)
X
X
preference
Assigns a preference value to this LSP. (See "Preference".)
X
X
primary
Specifies the name of the primary explicit path.
X
retry-interval
Number of seconds the ingress LSR waits to try to connect to the egress
LSR over the primary path. Default is 15 seconds. (See "Connection
Retries".)
X
X
retry-limit
Number of times the ingress LSR tries to connect to the egress LSR
over the primary path. Default is 5000 times. (See "Connection
Retries".)
X
X
secondary
Specifies the name of the secondary explicit path.
X
standby
Sets the secondary path in standby state. Disabled by default. (See
"Standby".)
