Scrolling Through Screens

As on a computer, you scroll on the Treo 650 to move from field to field, or page to
page, or in some cases, to highlight an item or option in a list. There are several
methods of scrolling:

Press the 5-way

on the front of the Treo 650. Pressing Right , Left ,

, and Down

moves to the next field, button, or action in that direction.

Press and hold Up

to quickly scroll to the top of a list, or press and hold

Down

to quickly scroll to the bottom of a list.

Tap an onscreen scroll arrow:

When viewing a list screen, such as the Memo list:

Press Up

and

Down

to scroll one screen at a time.

Press Center and then press Up

and

Down

to scroll between

line items.

Ⅲ

Press Left to switch from item scrolling to screen scrolling.

Press Option

and

Down

to scroll to the next page of

information within the current record.

ⅷ

When inside a text field, press Right

and

Left to scroll to the character or

word, and press Up

and

Down

to scroll between lines.
