The EPSON Stylus ® Pro 7000 is a 24-inch wide color ink jet printer that
produces resolutions up to 1440 dpi. You get true photographic quality with
no-compromise text and line art for almost any application, without
sacrificing productivity. Support for 24-inch media rolls up to 0.5 mm thick
and cut sheets up to 1.5 mm thick lets you print on a variety of media.
EPSON’s Micro Piezo ™ dual density droplet (DX3 ™ ) print technology
includes a precise and consistent dot size and an innovative six-color,
quick-drying ink system. The DC-based motor technology allows for
superior print engine accuracy, even during bidirectional printing modes.
For network productivity, a 10/100 Ethernet card or a high performance
EFI
® Fiery ® X2 RIP server may be purchased. The EPSON RS-5100 server
supports a variety of network configurations and protocols, with full
compatibility for Macintosh,
® Microsoft ® Windows ® 98, Windows 95,
Windows NT, ® Windows 2000, and UNIX ® computers. The Fiery X2 RIP
provides full multitasking for simultaneous spooling, Adobe ® PostScript ® 3
processing, and printing.
The EPSON Stylus Pro 7000, with the RS-5100 and EFI’s ColorWise ®
ProTools, provide professional color management—including fully
adjustable CMYK and RGB color correction, ICC profile support, and
high-quality press simulation color rendering dictionaries (CRDs).
For complete flexibility, the EPSON Stylus Pro 7000 also supports many
third-party RIPs and comes with EPSON
® drivers and utilities for
photographs and other standard, non-PostScript printing.
