Considerations
•
You can transfer an outside call to a busy extension using Camp-on. See “To camp a call onto a
busy extension:” on page 135.
Action
Result
1. Lift the handset or press the ON/OFF key.
Intercom dial tone
2. Dial the extension number.
Busy tone
3. Enter the Camp-on (Call Waiting) code (default = 2).
•
Wait XXX
displays (where XXX =
extension number/name)
• Called party hears alert tone from the
speaker
• Calling party hears ringback tone
4. Remain on the line until the called party answers.
Action
Result
1. Replace the handset or press the ON/OFF key.
2. Lift the handset or press the ON/OFF key again to be con-
nected to the waiting call.
OR....
Press the HOLD key.
• Current call placed on hold
• Connected to waiting call
