Deactivating hot key selection
The message “Hot Key on” appears on the display along
with the call number.

Starting hot key selection
P Press any key: The set hot key number is dialled. Prerequi-
site: the hot hey selection function is activated.
® When hot key selection is activated, an emergency
number can be dialled within 3 seconds of starting
hot key selection.

Using emergency numbers
The emergency number 112 is pre-programmed at the
base station telephone. You can set up 4 more call num-
bers (e.g. your doctor‘s number). These emergency num-
bers apply to the base station telephone and all registered
handsets. Emergency numbers can be dialled even when
the base lock is active or telephone accounts have been
set up.
Setting up/displaying/deleting emergency
numbers
Call the menu.

P = Enter the base PIN (factory setting 0000) and confirm.

P = Enter the emergency number.
9 Open the supplementary menu.

Dialling emergency numbers
When the base lock is active, you can only dial set emer-
gency numbers.
You will see a message indicating that dialling is locked for
the number you have entered. An emergency number can
either be dialled immediately or after the “Emergency call”
soft key has been pressed.

P Enter the emergency number.
® You can check the emergency numbers using Dis-
play entry. Unwanted numbers can be removed
with Delete entry.
