1. Cannot turn on DVR
‐ Check power
‐ Check the power cord
2. Monitor displays black screen
‐ Check the monitor power
‐ Check the connection between the monitor and DVR
‐ Check the monitor cable port
‐ Check the DVR power
If the screen displays in only black and white, check the camera type (NTSC/PAL) and then reboot
3. Some channels fail to display video
‐ Check the camera power
‐ Check the camera video input
‐ Check the DVR input port
‐ Check ON/OFF on Activity under Screen Setup
‐ Check the Convert menu under Monitor Setup
4. Video is not stored
‐ Use Disk Manager to check if the HDD is mounted
‐ Check Record Setup
5. Cannot play video
‐ Check Record Setup
‐ Check the Play button
6. Video is too bright or too dark
‐ Check the camera settings
‐ Detach a power cable adjacent to the video cable
‐ Check Brightness and Contrast under Screen Setup
7. Remote controller does not work
‐ Check the battery
‐ Check remote controller IDs
‐ Check the remote controller operation range
8. Front panel buttons do not work
‐ Check the DVR power

9. Network does not function
