Smart Viewer Version

- Smart Viewer Version and system requirements will be displayed.

●

DVR Version

- DVR Version not only displays the connected DVR(SHR-4081N/P) name if any

DVR(SHR-4081N/P) is being connected with Smart Viewer or the name of
DVR(SHR-4081N/P) composing a site if any DVR(SHR-4081N/P) is being
connected with the site but also displays DVR(SHR-4081N/P) S/W version.

- Smart Viewer will be expressed in gray when disconnected from

DVR(SHR-4081N/P) and Status will be marked as “Not Connected”.

- Each DVR Version has a check box, which is used for S/W Upgrade.

DVR(SHR-4081N/P) S/W Upgrade
- Smart Viewer upgrades on-line DVR(SHR-4081N/P) S/W remotely.

! Check a DVR(SHR-4081N/P) to be upgreaded among DVRs(SHR-4081N/P)

on line.

@ Click the following button to open the “SHR-4081N/P Firmware” file in tgz

format.

# Press the [Upgrade] button to transmit a file to the selected DVR

(SHR-4081N/P) and start upgrade of DVR(SHR-4081N/P) S/W.

$ The progress of file transmission and upgrade will be displayed at the bottom.

Note

The new Firmware necessary for DVR(SHR-4081N/P) S/W upgrade shall be downloaded from
CCTV Part in Products Section at http://www.samsung.com

Caution

Be sure to suspend all the DVR system functions in action such as recording, MENU,
backup, and play before you upgrade DVR(SHR-4081N/P) S/W.
Never try to turn the DVR(SHR-4081N/P) power off during such S/W upgrade.
S/W upgrade requires about 5 minutes.
If S/W upgrade is suspended accidentally, the previous S/W will be left intact.
