2. Select Symbols. To enter a symbol, press the corresponding number
key indicated on the display. Use the navigation keys to scroll up or
down to see additional symbols.
To enter numbers:
•
From a text entry screen, press and hold then press the appropriate
number key on the keypad.
To enter smileys (emoticons):
1. From a text entry screen, press the right softkey for OPTIONS and
select Text Mode.
2. Select Smiley’s. To enter a smiley, press the corresponding number
key indicated on the display. Use the navigation keys to scroll up or
down to see additional smileys.
Note : The Smileys feature is not available for Contacts or Memo Pad.
To enter Quick messages:
1. Press the right softkey for OPTIONS then select Add Quick
Message .
2. Scroll to the desired pre-programmed message and press .
