The PRINT command syntax for multiple copies is
$ PRINT/COPIES=
number filename
Your choice for
number may be any number between 1 and 1000. If
you use a number greater than 1000, only 1000 copies will print. (See
the
VMS Interface for QMS Printers manual for complete information.)
You may also use the VMS PRINT command qualifier JOB_COUNT
to print multiple collated copies of your entire print job. The PRINT
command syntax using the JOB_COUNT qualifier for multiple col-
lated copies is
$ PRINT/JOB_COUNT=
number filename
Your choice for

Using UNIX Commands
If you are connected to the printer through a UNIX host, and you have
QMS UNIX host software installed, you can use the -# option to the
qpr command to print multiple copies.
The qpr command syntax for printing multiple copies is
qpr -#
number filename

Collating Output
Collation is the printing of sets of multiple copies of a document in
numeric order. On the QMS 4525 Print System you can specify multi-
ple copies of your document in uncollated or collated order, and you
can direct them to either of the optional sorter bins or to the optional
