You can switch back to character mode at any time by
pressing the
5 . Each time you press this key, the mode
switches from one mode to the other.
Here is an example of how to enter $23.00.
1. Press the $ key. The symbol $ appears.
2. Press the 2 key. The number 2 appears.
3. Press the 3 key. The number 3 appears.
4. Press the . key (below the 2 key). The symbol . appears.
5. Press the 0 key twice. The numbers 00 appear.
