Temporary Formats
If you download formats from a computer, you (or the system
administrator) decide the format names. The format number is
determined by the order you download the formats to the
printer. Make a copy of the following table and complete it for
each MPCL file used to download formats. For information
about MPCL files, refer to your
System Administrator’s Guide.
1. Download the MPCL file.
2. From the Main menu, select Batch Entry.
3. From Format Type, select Temporary.
4. Use

to display each format, starting with the first. The
first format displays a > on the screen, for example

5. Write down each format name, and the order in which it
appears on the menu.
The order in which the format appears is the number you use
to display the format name.
