Audio Adapter
The Audio Adapter connects an earpiece microphone to your i1000plus for
privacy and hands-free operation.
The Audio Adapter fits onto the bottom of the i1000plus and provides a
standard 2.5mm jack connection for an earpiece microphone or headset.
(The Audio Adapter will be packaged with an audio accessory, such as an
earpiece microphone or a headset.)
Using the Audio Adapter

1. Hold the phone and the Audio Adapter facing you so that you see the
Motorola logo on the adapter.
2. Insert the Audio Adapter’s connector into the i1000plus receptacle. You
will hear the connector snap into place.
Attaching/Detaching the Earpiece Microphone
1. Insert the 2.5mm plug of the earpiece microphone cord into the jack
of the Audio Adapter.
2. Pull on the plug, not the cord, to remove the earpiece microphone.
Removing the Audio Adapter
1. Press the button on the front of the Audio Adapter. The button
displays the Motorola logo.
2. Pull the Audio Adapter from the i1000plus.
